Interesting aspect of the centre’s services is its activities in distinguished fields of maritime medicine – according to the company’s statute the centre certifies seafarers for fitness for duty at sea in compliance with the IMHA standards and requirements. Thus, the centre is authorized by MCA (Maritime and Coast Agency, UK), Panama and Liberia maritime administrations to certify seafarers. It should be mentioned that the MCA license is quite a prestigious international appraisal, since this license is granted only after a thorough assessment at place, executed by authorized UK bodies. In addition, there is an annual audit and evaluation, executed by the above-mentioned agency as far as it concerns the centre’s facilities and the two Approved Doctors’ skills and abilities.

Under the order of the Regional health centre’s Director, the centre is supplied with a General consult commission of doctors and a Specialized consult commission for eye troubles.
